If you are allocated a corporate volunteer day by your employer and would like to complete your day at the home please contact our volunteer resources department during business hours. They help us change the lives of the thousands of animals that come into our care each year. The lost dogs home does not collect personally identifiable information about individuals except when such individuals specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis. The lost dogs home provides corporate volunteers with the opportunity to complete voluntary work at the home.

Our corporate volunteering program is a very popular initiative providing corporate groups with the opportunity to experience a day in the life of the shelter while helping the home providing a loving environment for our residents. Sporting our special t shirts volunteers can be seen walking and playing with dogs grooming cats working in administration and participating in events. Founded in 1910 and located in north melbourne the lost dogs home was originally established to provide a temporary home for melbourne s lost and starving dogs.
